Katie Rose, BS, E-RYT-500, YACEP began her yoga journey with her first pregnancy in 2008. As a new mother and teacher in Early Childhood Education, Katie watched yoga work with the children in her care and desired to learn more. Katie credits her yoga practice yoga for helping her through some of the most difficult (& beautiful) times in her life—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Yoga has been a true gift and complement to her lifestyle and walk with the Lord.
In January 2012, Katie completed her training through Kidding Around Yoga, and began teaching children’s and family yoga around the Tri-State while pursuing her 200-hr certification through Anna Pittman of The Breathing Space in Blacksburg, VA. She completed her Advanced Studies for her 500-hr certification at The Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC in November 2013. Upon completion of her 500-hr training, Katie became an active Teacher Trainer for Kidding Around Yoga, traveling and certifying over 200 instructors both live & online. In 2015, Katie completed training with Broga® Yoga, and soon began working remotely as their Online Education Director. Through Broga® Yoga, Katie certified 200+ instructors and got to publish an article in Yoga Journal.
In her almost 7 years teaching, Katie has had tremendous experience in the Teacher Training and online yoga business models. These opportunities have shaped what she considers her yoga community as well as her approach to sharing yoga with students. She’s a passionate student and shares that passion with students who choose to learn with her.
Katie is the Lead Trainer for the Eternal Yoga Teacher Academy’s 200-hr program. Katie can be found at Eternal Yoga offering Yoga Mechanics, Heated Flow, method-based workshops, and subbing whenever the opportunity arises.
