Allison started a meditation practice in 2008 and hasn't stopped since. She believes this laid the foundation for her life-long journey of mindfulness practices, on and off the yoga mat. In 2015, Allison completed her 200 hour training at Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina. She has attended multiple workshops that have shaped her practice including Off the Mat, Into the World (Oakland, CA), Free Your Voice with Amber Fields (Berkeley, CA) and the Non-fixing Assisting Intensive with Janet Stone (San Francisco, CA). She has practiced throughout North Carolina, in various studios throughout the South and in Northern California.
Allison teaches a practice that is meditative and fluid, designed to get students into the "flow state." Her favorite areas of study includes chakras, yoga history/philosophy and hands-on support.
